Unveiling the Hidden Gems: Balochistan Government Launches Filming Project to Showcase the Province's Untouched Beauty

Quetta, Balochistan — In a groundbreaking initiative to spotlight the natural and cultural wonders of Pakistan’s largest province, the Culture, Tourism, and Archives Department of the Government of Balochistan has launched a comprehensive filming project aimed at capturing the unseen, untouched, and picturesque beauty of Balochistan.

Often overlooked in mainstream tourism narratives, Balochistan is home to breathtaking landscapes, ancient archaeological sites, rich cultural traditions, and warm, hospitable communities. This project seeks to bring those stories to light — not only for domestic awareness but also for international tourism promotion and cultural preservation

The Vision Behind the Lens

This visionary project is a bold step towards redefining how Balochistan is perceived. By documenting the region’s natural beauty — from the serene beaches of Gwadar and Ormara to the majestic mountain ranges of Ziarat and Hingol National Park — the Department hopes to create a compelling visual narrative that reflects the diversity, depth, and soul of the province.

“Our goal is to showcase Balochistan beyond the stereotypes. We want to present the real Balochistan — the land of rich history, vibrant culture, and unmatched natural beauty,” said a spokesperson for the Culture, Tourism, and Archives Department
